Generative Music

Generative music is very important in installations that are open to interaction or that are continually renewed. The modules allow you to build "soundscapes" whose qualities can be linked to the visual production obtained with the other modules. The modules produce generations of notes in standard MIDI which can be sent to a MIDI player. Music generation is multi-channel and can be controlled in musical timbres, duration of notes and pauses, rithms, bpm and note density. A series of compositive filters allow you to manage musical tones and scales. Transition models (Markov models) allow you to probabilistically set note transitions in order to reproduce different musical styles or corresponding to different emotions.
